Pride of Britian Nominee is Pride of Heritage Care

Heritage Care has been delighted to learn that one of its valued staff members in the East Anglia Region has been nominated for a Pride of Britain Award and is now through to the Regional Finals shortlist.

Carol White, Learning Disability Support Worker has been working for Heritage Care for some 32 years.  So impressed has one of the families been with the way in which Carol has tirelessly supported their son and raised funds to help improve the lives of others, that they nominated her for the Pride of Britain Awards 2017.

Of her nomination Carol said:

“I was really surprised and shocked to learn that I had been nominated and then to discover I had gone through as a Regional Finalist in East Anglia was the icing on the cake.  I love my job and the chance it gives me to make such a positive difference to some ones life.  I have never considered the things that I do of being worthy of such an Award and I am really humbled that people have put me forward.”

Bob Pritchard Regional Manager for Heritage Care in East Anglia said:

Carol has done an amazing job over the years helping to support others.  She has always gone above  and beyond the scope of her role to ensure people have the best possible life that they can and are  able to live the life they want to lead.  We at Heritage Care, are incredibly proud of her and all that she has achieved.  She will always be a winner in our eyes and those of the people and families she supports!”

Heritage Care understands that the 4 Regional Pride of Britain Finalists will be shortlisted to just one nominee in mid-October to go forward to the National Pride of Britain Awards & Ceremony, which will be held in London and televised by ITV later in the year.
