Types of care

  • Extra Care Housing for Older People
  • Extra Care Housing for people with Learning Disabilities

In conjunction with our partner, Rooftop Housing, we have developed an exciting new housing with care service based in Coleford in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, which caters both for older people and people with a Learning Disability.

This innovative housing with care development opened in April 2015 and provides 44 modern, highly specified, one and two bedroom apartments (called Dora Matthews House) for older people and 5 dormer bungalows (called Bank Close) for people with a Learning Disability. As well as providing high quality, spacious, energy efficient and accessible accommodation, the development includes a well-being centre; this is comprised of a café, activities centre and laundry and is designed to give residents a social outlet.

Heritage Care provides the care and support services, which are available 24/7, through our domiciliary care branch.
