Types of care

Peppercorn House is an extra care sheltered housing scheme for older people in Suffolk.

It offers people the chance to still have their own home with its all important front door whilst offering them the security of having care on hand.  Located in the Stoke area of Ipswich, Peppercorn House it is close to local shops and only a short bus ride away from the town centre. There are 23 modern, purpose built, well equipped one bedroom flats, all large enough to accommodate two people. Peppercorn House residents can enjoy the benefit of landscaped gardens which are fully wheelchair accessible.

Residents have access to the highest quality services, tailored to suit their individual needs and preferences. Care and support are available 24 hours a day; residents can have as much or as little support as they need.

We also operate a ‘Meet & Greet’ Day service from Peppercorn which provides a great chance for people to make new friends and catch up with old ones, build social networks, laugh and relax in a friendly, warm and supported environment. As well as the social aspect, our Meet & Greet Club means people can take part in some gentle exercise and activities that can help improve flexibility, mobility and general well-being.
