Heritage Care in Sussex has developed a passion for a Person Centered approach to support; putting the individuals we support at the centre of everything we do and focusing on real and meaningful outcomes.

We have a skilled, passionate and diverse workforce throughout Sussex.  The majority of our staff are NVQ/QCF trained and the remainder are working towards their qualifications.  We recruit local people whose skills match the needs of the individuals we support. We work closely with individuals and their families and brokers to ensure we get the right person for the right job. This includes using Person Centered adverts and involving individuals, their families or brokers on the interview panel. We have a reputation for providing high quality services across the county and have expertise in providing services for people with challenging needs and/or behaviour.

Our staff are trained under Proact Scip, which is a philosophy based on ‘Positive Behaviour Supports’. It is a fully integrated model of Person Centered planning linked to the management of crisis and out-of-control episodes.  This approach reduces the incidence of violent episodes and therefore minimizes the need for physical intervention.  We also have a local fully trained Person Centered Coach who works closely with all our teams to ensure that we are working to provide the best possible outcomes for the people who we support. We are able to offer a range of support options from small outreach contracts up to 24/7 support. If you have any questions about Heritage Care and the support we provide please do not hesitate to contact us.
