We  work with people who have a wide range of mental health needs, from mild anxiety and depression to severe and enduring mental health problems. We do this by providing innovative, effective, value for money services and training to individuals, community groups and mental health professionals. Within the Group we have experts in Recovery and can provide effective step down services that are effective for people who have complex needs. Our Group wide person-centred approach allows us to work with individuals flexibly to support their specific needs on their recovery journey. In this way, people are able to make choices and take responsibility in an enabling environment about their own support systems.

Community Options


Community Options is a trading name of Heritage Care and provides specialist mental health services for adults accross London and the South East including the London boroughs of Bromley, Tower Hamlets, Newham and Sutton.  Community Options’ services operate a person-centred approach which allows them to work with individuals flexibly to support their specific needs. This means that clients are able to make choices and take responsibility in an enabling environment for developing their own support systems.

As strong advocates of the recovery concept they work to inspire hope in the people that they support to improve their mental wellbeing.  The services this specialist division of Heritage Care is able to provide includes:

Accommodation Based Services

  • Registered Homes, Supported Housing and Shared Housing projects.
  • Intensive support and rehabilitation based services.

Housing Management Services

  • Contracted Housing Management Services for external housing associations and housing providers.

Community Support Services

  • Flexible 1:1 support for people in the community.
  • Intensive support 24/7, on a short term or longer term basis 365 days a year if needed.
  • Self-directed support services – with support planning.

Community Engagement and Inclusion Services

  • Providing meaningful activities and helping to build social and support networks.
  • Providing a framework and a voice for service user involvement to ensure they help to shape services.
